Today is polling day across Hyndburn and all residents are urged to use their vote. Polling stations are clearly marked at St Peter & St Paul's Church, St Charles School and Free Gardener's Club and will be open until 10.00pm. Cllr Harry Grayson is up for re-election following a four-year term (Cllr Ken Moss is up in 2014 and Cllr Clare Cleary in 2015) and the Rishton team (pictured with Danny Cleary on the right) will be out and about all day for a final canvass. The votes will be counted on Friday 4th May from 9.30am and the Rishton result will be posted on Rishton First mid-afternoon.
If anyone needs a lift to their polling station please contact Cllr Harry Grayson or Cllr Ken Moss.
