The next full meeting of Hyndburn Borough Council will take place at Accrington Town Hall at 7.00pm on Thursday 24th May 2012. This is the first meeting of the new 2012-2013 municipal year and officially instates the Leader of the Council (Rishton County Cllr Miles Parkinson) and the new Mayor plus any changes to the constitution. No motions or questions are raised at this meeting, it is used primarily to lay the legislative framework for the rest of the year and address any constitutional issues.
Cllr John Broadley from Church is the incoming Mayor although in variance to recent years Full Council meetings will be chaired by Cllr Harry Grayson instead.
