The Rishton Christmas lights will be switched on at 6.30pm on Friday 4th December 2015 outside the Library. All residents are invited to attend and take part in the short carol service (led by St Charles school choir), which will follow the traditional blessing of the crib by Fr Martin Dowd.
Also taking place on the same evening is Rishton's first Christmas market, hosted by the Switch On Rishton committee. 25 stalls are currently booked and the market will take place on the car park behind the Library from 5.30pm onwards.
