LAURELS OBSCURING STREET LIGHT

Laurel bushes at the old Gaskells Carpets site are still obscuring a street lamp, despite work having taken place to cut the shrubs back.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "The owners need to take some responsibility here. We've asked time and again for the shrubs to be cut down as laurel is a fast-growing bush and this is now a perennial problem. I will be speaking to the enforcement team about this, it's not fair on the residents."
