CAUTION URGED AT EACHILL CROSSING

All pedestrians and drivers are urged to be mindful of people using the puffin crossing at Eachill junction following an accident on Sunday where a young boy was seriously injured.

The Rishton Councillors and County Councillor have instructed Lancashire County Council to investigate the timings immediately as it is believed that the length of time allowed for pedestrians to cross is insufficient.

Please take extra care at the junction whilst this problem is resolved. An update will be posted when more information is available.
