Cllr Ken Moss said, "I was delighted to receive the email as I think it will really give an extra special Christmas feel to the switch on this year. We readily accepted their offer and I have sent the lyrics and music to the school so that they can rehearse."
This year's list of carols includes O Come All Ye Faithful, While Shepherds Watched and Away In A Manger and the switch on will take place at the Library on Friday 5th December at 6.30pm.
