GUTTERS AT KNOWLES STREET

Complaints have been raised by residents along Knowles Street that there are problems with the road gutters which means that they are inadequate to deal with high volumes of rainwater.

Loose kerbstones and blocked drains have caused large puddles to form and the depth of gutters along Mary Street is less than a centimetre in places. This has now been reported to Lancashire County Council who have come out to inspect the site and begin remedial work.
