BRIDGE STREET RESURFACING

A large section of the road and pavement along Bridge Street has now been resurfaced by Lancashire County Council.

Cllr Ken Moss, who lives on Bridge Street, said, "I requested this some time ago and it was put on LCC's work programme. Due to the way people naturally park on Bridge Street, one side of it had deteriorated considerably through constant use but I'm pleased to say that the crew has done an excellent job in repairing it."
