The People's Centre are holding a village wedding on Saturday 12th October. A village wedding is a themed event whereby members of the community take various roles on the day, with a bride, groom, vicar, best man, etc. The 'marriage' will be between Colin Cooper and Julie Hopkinson, with Cllr Ken Moss presiding as vicar. The doors will open at 2.00pm with a buffet reception to follow.
Tickets are only available to members priced £2 each and can be purchased through The People's Centre or by phoning Ken Moss on 01254 882797 or 07789077816. Membership costs £5 for a year and helps to support the community centre plus allows residents into events which are members-only, such as the Christmas and New Year parties.
