A new clothing shop opened in Rishton on Thursday 26th September and has already received welcome reviews from local residents. Buttercups has taken the premises which were previously occupied by P L Flooring on High Street.
Manageress Rachel Loynds said, "My dad had P L Flooring for 13 years but has now moved to bigger premises so I decided to start a new venture. A dress shop is something that Rishton didn't have and it's gone really well over the first few days. Our age range is primarily 18-30 but we want people to come in and tell us what they want us to stock. We have already had requests regarding clothes for the younger and older generations."
Buttercups also has a new Facebook page:

Buttercups isn't the only new business along that stretch of High Street. Truseal is in the process of being taken over and will remain as a sealants company, whilst a new reptile and exotic pets shop will be opening soon further along the row.
