LICENSING TRAINING

Cllr Clare Cleary is Chair of the Licensing Committee at HBC which looks at all aspects of licensing across the borough. Recently, she has organised training for all Councillors to ensure that licensing rules are fully understood when applications are made.

Clare said, "I would like to thank the Councillors who attended the Licensing Training this week. The training content was very informative and everyone was complimentary about the legal officer's presentation, ably assisted by the licensing officer. I hope that other members can attend for the next session."

Another training session is being held on Tuesday and Clare will be providing a sandwich lunch herself so that members can have a bite to eat.
