RISHTON ROUNDUP - 25th APRIL 2013

County Cllr Miles Parkinson and the Rishton Councillors have noted several problems whilst out canvassing for the forthcoming elections and the following have now been logged with HBC for attention:

• Parker Street - fence still unrepaired at Gaskells Carpets site
• Eachill Gardens - hatching area required for bus stop
• Church Street - faulty sign lighting
• Norden Court - van illegally parked
• Pickup Road - van illegally parked
• Spring Street - rubble and building debris tipped
• Brook Street - untaxed car
• Walmsley Avenue - faulty street light

All residents have now had a call at the door from one of the Rishton team and those who were out have been left a card. Literature explaining how Miles Parkinson (pictured right) and the Labour group are working for Rishton will continue to be delivered until election day on May 2nd.
