BUS SHELTER ON BLACKBURN ROAD

County Cllr Miles Parkinson has been making enquiries regarding the recently-demolished bus shelter on Blackburn Road. A statement from Lancashire County Council said that a new bus shelter has been ordered and should be installed within a month.

Cllr Parkinson has also been helping the Rishton Councillors to deliver information leaflets regarding Area Council meetings and will be in attendance next Tuesday evening at the Conservative Club from 7.00pm to answer questions from residents.
