BREAK-INS ON SPRING STREET

There has been an increased number of burglaries on Spring Street and the police target team are now investigating. This coincides with a series of break-ins and vandalism to various empty properties along the stretch which has prompted complaints from residents.

The Rishton Councillors are attempting to secure enforcement orders against owners of properties which have been allowed to fall into disrepair but residents are advised to ensure that their homes are secured and come forward with any information regarding names of people who are breaking in.
