DIAMOND JUBILEE FLAGS

Union flags are to be installed in the Christmas tree brackets above the shops on High Street for this weekend's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The Rishton Councillors have spent several evenings painting and preparing the flagpoles which are scheduled to be installed by Friday 1st June.

Several street parties and special events are planned across Rishton and we would like to wish all residents a happy Bank Holiday weekend celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 60 years on the throne.
