ST GEORGE'S DAY

April 23rd is St George's Day and a good reason to celebrate living in England.  Most of the pubs and clubs in Rishton are doing something to mark the day, from music at The Walmsley Arms to various promotions at the Free Gardeners' Club on Parker Street.

The Rishton Labour team would like to extend patriotic greetings to everyone in the village and will be out raising a glass later in the day.
