The next meeting of the Rishton Prospects environmental group will be at The People's Centre on Tuesday 5th April at 7.00pm. Any residents with an interest in Rishton's green spaces are welcome to come along.
A Prospects working party on 12th March helped to erect a new willow arbour and bird nesting boxes to improve Cutwood Park. This follows on from many other such exercises including cleaning the canal banks and planting crocus bulbs on Harwood Road and by the health centre in conjunction with the Rotary Club.
