Canvassing for the forthcoming elections is continuing with support on the door from Cllr Harry Grayson, Cllr Ken Moss and Clare Cleary's husband, Danny (pictured right). An election address will also be delivered within the next week to all households informing people of Clare's visions for Rishton under a Labour council.
Several more issues have been flagged up this week whilst canvassing and these have now been reported to the council:
- Bridge Street - flytipping in back yard of No 20
- St Peter Street - sunken repairs to road surface
- Eachill Gardens - incorrect voting identities of two residents
