Hyndburn Borough Council have drawn up a conservation plan for the Tottleworth area of Rishton to ensure that it retains its rural feel in the years to come. Residents are asked for their own suggestions to improve the plan and have until 8th April 2011 to get in contact. The document can be viewed online via the council website:
