FLYTIPPING BEHIND BRIDGE STREET

A large number of black bags full of household waste have been dumped in the alleyway between Bridge Street and Shuttleworth Street. The waste is believed to have come from a rental property and is now being investigated.

Waste crews have now cleared the site but such tipping is illegal and enforcement officers pursue cases such as this to the prosecution stage. Anyone with any information on any flytipping is encouraged to come froward in confidence to the Rishton Councillors.
