SHUTTLEWORTH STREET FLYTIPPING

Flytipping in the back alleyway between Shuttleworth Street and Bridge Street has now been cleared. Over a dozen black bin liners filled with household waste were found to have been dumped early last week although these have now been removed by the refuse team.

Efforts are made to identify the culprits from the waste left behind and this is leading to an increasing number of prosecutions across the borough as HBC has taken a much more aggressive stance over the past 12 months.
