TRAFFIC MONITORING

Parking on double yellow lines has become an increasingly worsening problem along certain junctions on High Street and this has been raised with Lancashire County Council. Extra warden patrols have been requested by Cllr Ken Moss at peak times to deal with inconsiderate parking at the top of Cliff Street, Commercial Street, outside the old HSBC bank and the top of Church Street and this was raised at a meeting on 15th August. It has also been requested that thought is given to allowing PCSOs to issue parking tickets once more.

Further details will be posted when a detailed response is received.
