A slowly-widening pothole on Cliff Street opposite the Conservative Club which is now down to the cobbles has been reported to Lancashire County Council for repairs. A similar hole on Spring Street several years ago was left unattended for so long that it became something for drivers to avoid and it is hoped that early remedial action will be taken here in order to prevent this happening again.
