RISHTON AREA COUNCIL - 28th JUNE 2012

As previously advertised, the next public meeting of the Rishton Area Council will be held on Thursday 28th June at 7.00pm in the Conservative Club on Cliff Street. All residents are invited to attend to find out more about issues within the village.

Cllr Clare Cleary will be chairing the meeting following the decision to rotate the chairmanship at each venue. County Cllr Miles Parkinson will also be in attendance alongside the three Rishton Councillors in order to take any questions regarding county or wider borough issues.

There will be a large open forum section following the success at the Free Gardeners Club earlier in 2012 and the Rishton Award will be presented to Lesley Jackson and Elaine Holden for their work in the village over many years.

The following meeting is booked at Rishton Cricket Club on 18th October at 7.00pm.
