GLEESON HOMES OFFICIALLY OPENED

Councillors Ken Moss and Clare Cleary attended the official opening of the new Parker Place housing development in Rishton on Thursday 12th April. A total of 75 houses will be built by Gleeson on the site of the old Gaskells Carpets factory on Parker Street.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "Over 30 houses have already been built, with most of those now occupied and the vast majority of buyers having moved less than 2 miles. Eight homes have been bought by young Rishton families and that is exactly what we want to see."

The average mortgage price for one of the new Gleeson homes at Parker Place is £106,000 which works out at under £60 per week and anyone interested is encouraged to visit the site office to speak to a sales advisor for more details.
