Flytipping has occurred in the alleyway between Bridge Street and Shuttleworth Street.
Cllr Ken Moss, who lives on Bridge Street, said, "I've had reports of a blue Transit van tipping these items and the enforcement team can use details which are supplied to trace the owners of vehicles which dump waste. In many cases, we've found that these are supposedly professional waste clearance firms but are simply someone who has a van. People need to ask for waste carriers' licences when they employ someone to get rid of household rubbish as the householder is liable for prosecution too."
The tipped waste will be cleared at the taxpayer's expense. Please report anyone who is flytipping.
