PIGGY PARK VOLUNTEER DAY A SUCCESS

A volunteer day organised at the Piggy Park community garden on Saturday 17th February has succeeded in finishing the areas required for growing this season.

Cllr Jeff Scales said, "I just want to say a massive thank you to the guys at Rock Mount and some wonderful Rishtoners for their help at Piggy Park over the weekend. Their help was invaluable in completing our final raised beds and prepping the forest schools area for our wildflower planting and hedgehog houses."
