ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR BEHIND SHAWBROOK CLOSE

Overgrown shrubbery on the land to the rear of Shawbrook Close and St Albans Road has been attracting antisocial behaviour and the Rishton Councillors have issued instructions to have it cleared and pruned.

Cllr Miles Parkinson said, "We have had reports of antisocial behaviour which is causing disturbances for nearby residents. We have been working with the local police and arranged for the bushes bordering the affected properties will be cut back so as not to enable cover for dens."
