The
Association of Labour Councillors have launched a new online tool
showing how different areas have been hit by Conservative government
cuts. Figures have been used from the House of Commons Library.
Across
the country, local authorities’ spending power per household is on
course to fall by an average of 16 per cent (£169) between 2011-12 and
2012-20. Labour Councils are set to see falls of 21 per cent on
average, compared to a 13 per cent fall for Tory Councils.
