Team Rishton has been canvassing over the weekend to promote Jeff Scales as the Labour candidate to succeed Cllr Harry Grayson this May in the local elections. The following streets have been covered:

Talbot Street
Burton Street
Hermitage Street
Wheatfield Street
Back Wheatfield Street
Holt Street
James Street
Several issues were raised by residents and these will be dealt with over the coming week.
