RESIDENT CATALOGUES BLOCKED DRAINS

The Rishton Councillors have received detailed correspondence from Mr Jones of Petre Crescent listing a number of blocked drains around Rishton:

• Henry Street - blocked drains outside properties 5, 28, 38 and 39
• Haworth Street - blocked drains outside properties 1 and 2
• Knowles Street - blocked drains outside properties 49 and 52
• Brook Street - blocked drain opposite property 66
• Cliff Street -  blocked drain opposite property 8
• High Street - several blocked drains from Post Office to Cricket Club
• Blackburn Road - blocked drain at pedestrian Entrance to Cutwood Park
• George Street - blocked drain by the school
• School Street -  blocked drains in car park behind Library

County Councillor Miles Parkinson has logged these with LCC for cleaning as soon as possible.
