FRIDGE DUMPED AT HANSON STREET

A refridgerator has been dumped in the alley at the end of Hanson Street and this has now been logged with HBC for removal.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "Hyndburn Council introduced mandatory licences for scrap carriers last year, plus the price of scrap metal has bombed so items like this aren't snapped up by collectors anymore. We still offer free bulky waste removals, all residents have to do is call HBC on 388111 and arrange a collection."
