RISHTON CANVASSING - 28th FEBRUARY 2016

Team Rishton have once again been pounding the streets and will try to see every household before the local elections on May 5th. Streets covered this week include:

• Dorset Road
• Gloucester Road
• Essex Road
• The Esplanade
• Sussex Road
• Somerset Road
• Coniston Way
• Derwent Close   

Cllr Harry Grayson is standing down after over 10 years as member for Rishton and has endorsed Jeff Scales as his successor.

Harry said, "Jeff's a good lad and I want to make sure Rishton is left in safe hands with someone who will work with Clare and Ken. It's no good having people knocking on doors promising the Earth and delivering nothing. Jeff is a realist with a lot of experience working on the Council and I know he'll work hard to make sure what can be done gets done."
