Election season has begun in earnest in Rishton as the borough gears up for polling day on May 5th to decide who will take up positions as the new local Councillors. Jeff Scales is the Labour candidate for Rishton and has been knocking on doors with Cllrs Clare Cleary and Ken Moss to speak to residents about their views.
Streets covered so far include:
- St Albans Road
- Thornhill Avenue
- Woodside Road
- Churchill Avenue
- Blackburn Road
All households received an information card about Jeff and the Labour group in November last year and further information will be posted over the next two months.
