DERELICT: 123 SPRING STREET

123 Spring Street has lain empty for some time and is now in very poor condition. Enforcement notices have been served on the owner but this has not led to any significant action.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "This is round the corner from me and it is isn't nice for the people who are living nearby. This is clearly an instance of an owner not really being that interested and so we are now pushing for stronger enforcement action. Landlords like this are the ones we want to run out of town, they're not welcome in Rishton."

A new report has been lodged and it is hoped that repairs will take place soon.
