REVIEW OF EACHILL JUNCTION TRAFFIC LIGHTS

The Rishton Councillors have asked Lancashire County Council to review the sequencing at Eachill junction traffic lights following a spate of complaints from residents.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "There is now a noticeable backlog of traffic coming from Blackburn Road at peak times that was not there before the refit. Traffic now frequently queues to the bus shelter opposite the Cenotaph whereas before it backed up no further than The Turrets garden at very worst."

An answer is expected shortly.
