RISHTON STOP REQUESTED ON TODMORDEN CURVE

A letter has been sent from Leader of the Council, Miles Parkinson, to the Secretary of State for Transport regarding rail links to Manchester Airport. A motion was passed at a Council meeting earlier this year to request additional stops at Rishton and Huncoat on the new Todmorden Curve route which goes direct to Manchester.

The motion was seconded by Rishton Councillor Clare Cleary.
