Council Leader and County Councillor for Rishton, Cllr Miles Parkinson, has racked
up 20 years long service with Hyndburn Borough Council and his name was
added to the roster in the Town Hall earlier this month.
Miles said, "I stood for Council in 1995 and I never expected to still
be here in 2015. There have been a few changes in that time and things
are a lot harder now but I'm pleased to have been of service to the
borough and look forward to being here for a few more years yet."
