RISHTON ELECTION CANDIDATES 2015

The list of candidates for the election in Rishton has now been published and shows that there will be a three-way battle to become one of the three local Councillors.

Cllr Clare Cleary said, "It's a pity that the UKIP candidate doesn't appear to be canvassing and that the Conservatives have had to put someone forward who doesn't even live in Rishton. I started campaigning for this election a long time ago and am hopeful that I have proven myself since 2011 to be re-elected for a second term."

Voting in both the local and national elections takes place on May 7th 2015.
