HAIR CONFIDENCE

Dawn Sharpe Cowen owns Hair Confidence at 105 High Street and has been hairdressing in Rishton for over nine years. As well as herself, three other stylists work in the shop - Aimee, Lauren and Cameron - and the shop is open five days a week.

Dawn said, "I first opened a shop on Walmsley Street but I was so busy that I soon needed bigger premises and I moved to High Street three years ago where things have been even better."

She continued, "I have been a qualified hairdresser for 20 years and have been in Rishton since 2001. I have two aunts and three cousins who are also hairdressers so there must be a family flair for it!"

Opening times are as follows:

• Monday: 10.00am - 4.00pm
• Tuesday: CLOSED
• Wednesday: 10.00am - 7.00pm
• Thursday 9.30am - 6.00pm
• Friday: 10.00am - 6.00pm
• Saturday: 9.00am - 3.00pm
• Sunday: CLOSED
