COMPLAINTS ABOUT SAUSAGE FACTORY SITE

Complaints have been lodged with the Rishton Councillors regarding the state of the old sausage factory site on Noble Street. The building was gutted by fire in April 1998 and finally demolished in 2002 but even though fencing has been erected the site still attracts flytipping.

Instructions have now been issued to get the owners to make the area presentable for local residents once more.
