CATS TRAPPED AT 123 SPRING STREET

Complaints have been made regarding the state of 123 Spring Street which has fallen into disrepair and was open to intruders. Stray cats have also been using the house as somewhere to sleep and the general look of the property is very untidy.

HBC enforcement officers contacted the owners who came to block entrances to the house but this was done in a very haphazard way and the cats which had been reported were not removed and left trapped within the house.

The RSPCA and local Councillors got involved and the cats are now free, with a dilapidation order now having been served on the owners to fully renovate the property.
