HORSES AT ST ALBANS ROAD

Following complaints about damage to footpaths, driveways and grass verges, the footpath between St Albans Road and Shawbrook Close was replaced and shoulder gates installed.

A sign was also erected stating that no horses are allowed but despite this there is clear evidence that horse riders are still using the pathway and the newly-laid tarmac surface is already showing signs of wear.

All riders are reminded that this is not a bridleway or exercise area for horses and anyone who ignores this is liable for prosecution.
