A reminder to all residents that the annual Christmas lights switch on will take place on Friday 5th December at 6.30pm at the Library. Cllr Clare Cleary will introduce the event and The Worshipful Mayor of Hyndburn will then switch on the lights. The blessing of the crib will also take place during the evening.
St Charles School choir will be leading the singing this year and carol sheets will be provided.
Also taking place on the same night is the Rishton Free Gardeners Club Christmas Fair which will include stalls for gift ideas ranging from crafts and foodstuffs through to Bodyshop products.
