NEW RISHTON POLICE OFFICER

PC Clare Wall has now taken over as the main police officer for Rishton, replacing PC Johanna Maden who has served the community for many years. Clare has worked as a beat officer in Baxenden, Barnfield and Altham and will now join PCSO Steve Charnley in looking after Rishton.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "We are very sorry to lose Jo but she is taking time off to start a family and we wish her well for the future. I have met with PC Wall and she is clearly very hands-on and wants to really engage with us to sort out problems. Her track record is excellent so we are lucky to have another good officer here in Rishton."
