NEW RISHTON SIGN INSTALLED

A new sign bearing the Rishton crest has been installed at the end of Blackburn Road at the junction with Whitebirk roundabout. The sign had fallen into disrepair and the replacement coincides with updates to the lower banner which are dedicated to the Accrington Pals.

The sign is part of a borough-wide scheme to upgrade all township signs, for which each Area Council provided over £300.
