LEE LANE RESURFACING

Complaints have been received by the Rishton Councillors from cyclists regarding the state of the road surface where Norden View becomes Lee Lane. The tarmac surface has become pitted and the painted lines which define the cycle lane are almost worn away.

Work is currently ongoing in the area for the new Pennine Reach scheme and it has now been confirmed by LCC that improvements to the cycle lane will be included in the list of works.
