A stretch of Bridge Street and the adjoining footpath has fallen into disrepair from heavy traffic use along one side and this has now been reported to Lancashire County Council for resurfacing.
The road has been patched up many times over the years but now has several deep potholes and the footpath has been cracked by wagons struggling to cope with the narrow width of the street when cars are parked on the opposite side.
