A kerbstone adjacent to the Free Gardeners Club on Parker Street has been reported to the Highways department at Lancashire County Council for repair and this will be attended to shortly. Residents have also enquired about the possibility of dropping the kerb as it is currently nearly a one foot drop from the pavement to the road surface, although it is not though likely that this will be able to be addressed simply.
On the opposite side of the road there is a drainage gully running through the pavement which juts out into the roadway and this too has been reported for attention. The gully is made of metal and had snagged various car tyres, causing damage.
