MILES PARKINSON WINS IN RISHTON

Cllr Miles Parkinson has won the County Council election to remain as Rishton and Clayton-le-Moors representative for a second term. The count was held Hyndburn Sports Centre on Friday 3rd May following voting the previous day. The result was as follows:

Miles Parkinson (Labour) - 1866
Warren Melia (Conservative) - 758
Craig Ramplee (UKIP) - 650

Cllrs Clare Cleary, Harry Grayson and Ken Moss are very happy that Labour have retained their full team in Rishton and look forward to further work with Miles in the coming years.
